Oh Christmas Tree

Sharing a clean and simple card
I created with one of my Christmas Word Stamps.
I love how the distressed paper edges add dimension
and texture to the card!
I lightly spritzed the finished card in
red to add a little depth and interest.

Supplies and Tools: Holiday Words (Inkadinkado), Baker's Twine,
Star Punch, Red Stickles Glitter, Button
Spritzer, Red Sharpie Marker

Crop Stop Guest Designer - Winter Sled Card

I was so honored when Karen ask me to be a
guest designer for the Crop Stop blog for the month of December!
This is the first of three projects I'll be sharing on their blog this month.
I embossed my Kraft cardstock with a snowflake embossing folder
and rubbed a white pigment ink pad over it to add dimension and color.

To make this tiny sled I used these supplies:
White glue, Red Paint, Twine, Sandpaper, Hot Glue, and 4 mini craft sticks
Step one: Glue three mini craft sticks together with white glue
Step Two: Cut the ends off of the fourth craft stick
Step Three: Paint all pieces red
Step Four: Lightly Sand pieces for a distressed look
Step Five: Glue the cross bar to the sled and add a knotted piece of twine

Supplies and Tools: Kraft/White Cardstock, Snowflake Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug), White Pigment Ink,  Popsicle Sticks, Paint, Sandpaper, Twine, Baker's Twine, Hot Glue, Petaloo Flowers, Scallop Square Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Petaloo Crochet Lace Fancy Trim, Winter Post (Stampin' Up)

Christmas Love

I enjoy doing black and white cards with just a "pop" of color,
and I love how the Christmas tree and red bow stand out against
the music background of this card.
After I made the card I noticed that the little tree label
would make a great gift tag.
Here's a set I made to send a friend
going through a hard time this Christmas.
I packaged them up in a glassine bag
and added one of my handmade festive stickers.
Hope it makes her day a little
brighter to get some happy mail!

Supplies and Tools: Music Background (Stampin' Up), Tree Punch (Martha Stewart), Red Twine,
Word Die (Momenta), Snowflake Punch (Martha Stewart), Baker's Twine,
Star and Heart Punch, Labels 4 (Spellbinders), Labels 1 (Spellbinders),
Label from Kraft Outlet, Glassine Bag, Digi from Digi Web Studio

Quilled Snowflake

I recently saw a tutorial for comb quilling and decided to give it a try!
Instead of making flowers with my quilled pieces,
I turned mine into a wintry snowflake!
(I didn't buy the special quilling comb,
but rather a $1 hair comb that works just as well!)
To make the background I embossed my
white cardstock with the knitted folder
and lightly brushed a pastel blue paint over it!

Supplies and Tools: Comb, Quilling Tool,
Knitted Embossing Folder (Richard Garay), Blue Paint, Square Punch,
 Sharpie Marker, Kraft/White/Blue Cardstock
